Enel Russia
Enel Russia () is a Russian power generation company formed as a result of RAO EES Russia reorganization. The full name: Public joint-stock company. The headquarter in in Yeakaterinburg, the governance sits in Moscow. ==History == On October, 2006 the company realized IPO, when it deployed among investors 5,1 billions of stocks that were additionally emitted on the sum of $459 million. That was the first public placement of stocks among the companies established during the reformation of the Russian energetic sphere. According to Chubais, who announced the results of IPO, that sum is bigger than “investments from budget to the energy for the last 10 years”.〔Елена Медведева. Первые деньги // Ведомости, № 206 (1733), 1 ноября 2006〕 Afterwards, RAO EES “Russia” possessed 75,03 % of stocks Enel OGK-5 (before the IPO it’s his part contained 87,7 %). In June 2007 Enel Group bought 29,99 % of company’s stocks and then 4,9 % of stocks on fund market. On October, 2007 Enel Group increased the participation share to 37,15 % and today Enel Group has 43% of the company’s fund. OGK-5 was registered in Yekaterinburg on October 27, 2004. On July 17, 2009 according to the decision of the annual Meeting of shareholders the Company was renamed to JSC "Enel OGK-5", and on August 8, 2014 the IRS of Russia registered the new version of the statute with the name Public Joint-stock community “Enel Russia”. New abridgment became PJSC “Enel Russia”. The decision to change the administrative-legislative form of the company was made on the Annual meeting on June 17, 2015.
